Yiying is an award-winning designer with more than 10 years of experience in the creative realm, whose projects have been featured in publications including The Huffington Post, Mashable, New York Times, Wired Magazine, Engadget, The Verge, Creativity Online and so on.

Her work including the illustration known as the Twitter 'Fail Whale', the Conan O'Brien 'Pale Whale', Beautiful Traps QR Code Art Project, 10 Most Intriguing in Fashion QR code Illustration and SXSW 2012 Interactive Big Bag Art.

Born and Raised in Shanghai and Sydney. Educated in Sydney and London. Graduated with 1st Class Honors, Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication from the University of Technology, Sydney. Exchange study in Advertising & Illustration Central St. Martins London.

Exhibited in galleries and museums globally. First public exhibition at Sydney Museum of Contemporary Art. Named Top 10 Emerging Leaders in Innovation from Microsoft The Australian 100. Winner of New York Shorty Award in Design. One Show Design Award Merit. Winner of Australian Desktop Create: Emerging Talent Award.
