Yiying Lu is an award-winning designer with more than 10 years of experience in the creative realm. Her projects have been featured in publications including The Huffington Post, Mashable, New York Times, Wired Magazine, Engadget, The Verge, Creativity Online and so on.

Born and Raised in Shanghai, China. Educated in Sydney, Australia (University of Technology Sydney) and London, UK (Central Saint Martins).

Yiying's work including the illustration known as the Twitter 'Fail Whale', Conan O'Brien 'Pale Whale', Beautiful Traps QR Code Art, 10 Most Intriguing Fashion Icons and SXSW Interactive Big Bag Art, has been exhibited in galleries and museums globally. She has been named named Top 10 Emerging Leaders in Innovation from Microsoft The Australian 100; awarded the Winner of Design category from New York Shorty Awards, One Show Design Award Merit, and received the Best of China Award in Cannes Advertising Festival, France.

Yiying has done creative works for Disney, Conan O'Brien, Expedia, Microsoft, SXSW, Twitter, PepsiCo, Sony, Scholastic, Maybelline, Saatchi & Saatchi, Glam Media, JWT, Shorty Awards and so on.
