Bruck became famous in the swim lanes of international competition, breaking records at the Olympics and other international competitions. Yoav Bruck is probably best remembered for his performance in the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, where the Israeli swim team, with Bruck at the helm, reached the finals for the first time in its history. The team secured an 8th place finish. In the 1996 European championships, Bruck set a new time record for Israel, a feat that has yet to be bested.
Yoav Bruck’s talent for swimming was evident even before his entry into Olympics competition. As a communications student at Auburn University in America, he led his team to numerous titles and secured for himself many honors, including All-American many times over.

Yoav Bruck acknowledges that his athletic success, especially as an Olympic competitor, helped to open many doors for him and provided him with an easier entry into the corporate world. He secured his MBA in Israel, from the Recanati Business School, and immediately set out to capture this fertile environment that his sports fame had provided. Partnering with the oldest and largest travel agency in Israel, ISSTA Travel, Bruck established a new subsidiary that would focus on the sports enthusiast who is eager to travel throughout the world to see their favorite games and players in person.
