I am a postdoctoral researcher at Idaho State University. My interests include remote sensing, GIS, photogrammetry, unmanned aircraft systems, visualization, and geoscience education. I also a strong background in astronomy, natural history photography, programming, 3D modeling, instrumentation, and game programming.

My current projects include but not limited to:

1. Satellite- and UAS-based thermal and hyperspectral remote sensing of the land surface, water, and ecology.

2. Visualization using GIS, 3D technology, and game programing.

3. Active learning in college geology education with virtual geology learning.

4. Geomorphological evolution of land surface and its use in the conservation of geoheritage with community-engaged learning.
