Zahed Lateef

Entrepreneur Zahed Lateef acts as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Amvensys Capital Group, LLC. He also serves as Principal of Amvensys Technologies, LLC, which he launched in 2007, and Chief Executive Officer of SolarExchange.com. Zahed Lateef supports a variety of education programs through the Amvensys Foundation, a nonprofit organization he started to eliminate poverty through the advancement of universal elementary education and higher learning initiatives.

As CEO of Amvensys Capital Group, Zahed Lateef has played an integral role in growing company holdings. In 2009, Mr. Lateef presided over the purchase of document management and bill collection business Source Check, bringing the company under the umbrella of Amvensys Technologies. ACG acquired an energy firm and a telecommunications business that same year, followed by the purchase of another telecommunications company in 2011. ACG currently owns 11 subsidiary companies in the financial services, telecommunications, and energy industries.

When he was 19 years old he built his first company, which dealt in repossessed and foreclosed tugboats. Other companies he has launched include Total Herbal Care, LLC; Homes of Excellence, LLC; and TAG Mobile, LLC. Since the founding of his first business, Mr. Lateef has overseen companies in diverse business sectors, such as energy technology, herbal health care, shipping, grocery distribution, and hospitality.
