Richard Zeidel

Richard Zeidel joined Sonic Boom as Partner in October 2011.

Sonic Boom is a customer experience agency who partners with some of the most progressive brands in the world. The company specializes in creating transformative customer experiences at the intersection of technology and creative. Sonic Boom has developed a unique research and strategic planning methodology which is based in digital ethnography (we call it Belief Based Consumption); by understanding audience’s beliefs and values we are able to create powerful connections between brands and their audiences. Data driven to the core, Sonic Boom believes in total transparency, measurement, and a process that leads to continuous optimization.

Richard was primarily responsible for research, strategy, client service and overall growth and business direction for the firm.

Before joining Sonic Boom, Richard was Vice President, Strategic Alliances of Tungle.Me, a cross-platform social calendaring application. In his role, Richard led the strategic planning and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy through to acquisition by Blackberry in April, 2011.


Prior to that, Richard was Vice President, Sales, North America for iPerceptions Inc, a Montreal based firm providing proprietary online research solutions for website optimization.

A natural entrepreneur, Richard has been involved throughout his career in the development and accelerated growth of some of Canada’s leading Internet start-ups. Richard began his career by founding MediaFactory, a web development company in 1995 and later merged it with K-OS Multimedia. Subsequent to the merger Richard became the executive responsible for launching Publicis Canada's digital division.
