I'm Aygül. Stockholm Serendipity is a blog with bits and pieces from life – life as it crosses my path. It’s a selection of thoughts I choose to write about, moments which have stuck with me, topics I ponder and situations I muse about. The things I stumble upon. The serendipity in my life.

I am an individual, a daughter, a sister, a partner, an aunt, a friend, a cousin, a niece, a student, a teacher, an anthropologist, a specialist, a writer and an advocate. I am also very much a traveller. And a thinker.

Stockholm, Sweden is the place I call home. Born, raised and spent 28 years of my life in Stockholm. I lived in London and New York City, and I have travelled to over 40 countries in 6 continents. Blogging is a way to share with you my serendipitous moments.

When blogging I write my mind. Therefore, some posts are in English and some are in Swedish. I tend to just write in whichever language comes to me when I come across a certain topic. Most often though, and to the delight of most of my readers I guess, posts will be in English :-) I apologies for any inconvenience. Sometimes Google Translate helps. Sometimes it makes for a good giggle…
I’d love to hear from you so please do write to me, by leaving a comment on my blog Stockholm Serendipity.

Comment, question or just say hi :-)

I’m also open to suggestions of Guest Blogging, Advertising and Sponsorship so if you're interested, lets touch base.

Happy reading!
