George Mitsopoulos is a performance-driven technology and telecommunications executive with more than 10 years of management experience growing recurring revenue for leading industry brands. As Chief Operating Officer of Teutonic Holdings, LLC, a telecommunications provider specializing in broadband access, hosted voice and unified communications, he is responsible for P&L for the company’s flagship brands, including IKANO Communications, DSL Extreme, Broadvoice and PhonePower.
Mitsopoulos is responsible for a 150-person operation in Los Angeles with offices in Salt Lake City, Seattle, and Toronto. His success is derived from his focus on driving organic growth through strategic marketing partnerships and providing a first-class customer experience through innovative product development and customer care. Reducing costs, improving efficiency and increasing customer satisfaction helped grow annual company revenue to more than $50M. He has also specialized in leading venture-backed and early stage startups from product inception to exponential growth.
Mitsopoulos joined Teutonic in February 2015 as part of its acquisition of IKANO Communications and DSL Extreme. He played an integral role in establishing DSLExtreme as the largest independent Internet Service Provider based in California, as well as both AT&T and Verizon’s largest wholesale broadband provider.
Prior to Teutonic, Mitsopoulos held key executive management roles at cloud service providers, including DNAmail and Virtacore. Mitsopoulos led Virtacore’s product development team responsible for the company’s direct and white-labeled public cloud service offerings, and also managed a strategic relationship with VMware ,driving strategy elements for mid-market enterprises to “compute in the cloud.” While at DNAmail, he was a key player in growing the company from inception to one of Microsoft’s leading Hosted Exchange service providers.
Mitsopoulos earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University with an emphasis in Operations and Management Information Systems.
