Jacqueline Farmer

Director and Filmmaker in France

Jacqueline Farmer is the conference director and producer, working in supporting and celebrating women’s work in the natural world. She had worked for many years in natural history documentaries. Farmer has produced and directed several natural history films through Saint Thomas Productions and has produced a 4-part series for Curiosity Stream. Jacqueline Farmer has produced and directed a film titled: Hurricane Blu-ray, with her co-directors Cyril Barbançon and Andy Byatt. The film recounts the 15,000 km journey of the most devastating climatic phenomenon on our planet: the hurricane. A force that is both destructive and essential to the balance of life on Earth.

She has worked with many leading broadcasters. In the year 2019, Farmer set up the Nature Through Her Eyes Festival, with war photographer Gary Knight. Her panel will include Bill Gardner, Vice President, Programming & Development at PBS, Noel Kok, Co-Founder & Programmes Director at Nature, Environment & Wildlife Filmmakers Congress (NEWF), also renowned figures as Lisa French and Laura Kloeckner, who joined Dox Box in 2020 and leads the program Women In Dox.
