I'm the Director of Development & Finance at Mid-America Management Corp., where I manage real estate capital transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing and development projects. In addition to my core responsibilities, I lead the company's energy conservation program, and act as an investment advisor to our 401(k) retirement plan.
With over 15 years of experience in real estate, architecture and construction, I am equally at home negotiating a property acquisition, performing a complex financial analysis, overseeing a construction project, or brainstorming a design problem.
To keep myself sharp, I teach real estate investment and development to graduate students at Kent State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design.
Lest my analytical side take too much precedence, I keep my architectural brain flourishing though photography, travel (with my wife and two children), reading, and a keen interest in all things design. I'm an avid tech junkie and gamer, and can make espresso that gives any barista a run for their money.
I'm an alumnus of Cornell University (graduate) and Kent State University (undergraduate). My personal blog can be found here.
