Seattle based electronic producer Magnus has seen a long career, spanning releases across labels including Discover, Pharmacy, JOOF, Perfecto Fluoro, Solarswarm, and Borderline. Magnus’s tracks have appeared on CD compilations by Armada, Perfecto, Ministry of Sound, and Moist Music, and have also ranked in top 10 charts on Beatport. Magnus’s tracks been played on A State of Trance, Future Sound of Egypt, Rush Hour, Global Trance Grooves, and many more. In 2009, Magnus won the Sean Tyas Melbourne remix competition with his Michael Lee remix. In 2011, his first album Signal Strength was released on JOOF Recordings. That same year, Magnus began working with Perfecto, releasing a Magnus Dub remix of I’m Alive by Paul Oakenfold and Infected Mushroom, as well as his original track, Velvet. His EP entitled Render One was released in 2014 on Perfecto Fluoro, then later that year he played the White Ocean stage at Burning Man alongside Astrix and Juno Reactor. 2015 has been a busy year for Magnus, seeing his UK debut at the legendary Gatecrasher, and several releases including his original track Neon Division for Simon Patterson's Trance Nation on Ministry of Sound.

Magnus has often been referred to as a crossover artist, combining the elements of both trance and psytrance, creating a signature sound for which he has become known for.
