An award-winning writer, I’ve produced copy, content, and all manner of written works for businesses and organizations of all sizes for 15 years. I’ve presented at conferences across the U.S. and I’ve taught communication, marketing, and advertising to undergrad and graduate students who went on to work for top agencies and some of the world’s most recognizable brands.
Now I work with clients ranging from established entrepreneurs who appear regularly in national media outlets to emerging success stories, who are just transitioning into self-employment.
I first ventured into the online business world in 2009, quickly attracting clients from the U.S., Canada, and Europe before taking a detour into a university faculty dream job… only to realize my entrepreneurial spirit felt trapped in the ivory tower. So I took a leap, and I haven’t looked back!

I hold a B.A. in history from The University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in history from Georgia State University, where I advanced to doctoral candidacy in the field of communication before deciding to leave academia. I live near Atlanta with my husband — and within a few short miles of my parents, siblings, nephew, and in-laws — and I adore the location-independent lifestyle self-employment affords.
