Educator, Researcher, and Information professional in Toronto, ON, Canada

I am a user-centric information professional who is fascinated by data and research particularly how it can inform, as well as transform, our practices while improving the quality and service delivery of our public institutions. Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at McGill University's School of Information Studies while also working as a public school teacher, and as a French-English translator in the Toronto area.

My research focus is on Information Use Environments and Human-Information Interaction with a specific focus on how people access, use, share, and interpret data, information and resources; how it is applied to satisfy a particular need/goal in and how an organization's (or a system's) structure either impedes or promotes this kind of information work.

My work goal is to support productivity, inquiry and lifelong learning by providing individuals with information, resources and opportunities to develop the skills they need in order to learn and attain their goal.
