Sarah Tharpe – student, reader, runner, and volunteer. She is pursuing a B.A. in English at Middle Georgia State. She assists students in Spanish and English introduction courses, which improve her writing and communication skills. Her academic interests include epic poetry, myth and folktale literature, and detective fiction. Between attending classes and waiting tables, she spends her time running 5ks, hiking, and volunteering. She teaches second and third graders at Vacation Bible School each summer.
