Shondale Wilhite is an advocate that serves survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. She is a published author of two books, The Reality Behind the Illusion which was nominated for the 2018 Christian Literary Award and 2019 Indie Author Legacy Award, and launched SHINE: Taking Back Control After Domestic Abuse July 2021. Both publications can be purchased on amazon.com and sold internationally.
Shondale has spoken on several platforms; The Best You Virtual Expo LA with well renown speaker Les Brown, Sonya Stribling and so many others, The Comeback Champion Summit and Get Write Author Expo New York to name a few. She has a podcast SHINE with Shondale that can be heard On Demand on Pandora and Spotify. She is also a member of the African American Domestic Violence Council because her mission is to make a difference in the lives of others.
Shondale has been featured in Voyage Dallas Magazine and in over forty news outlets. She has also been featured as a spoken word artist in several MikeG Entertainment events and was an actress in David Moore's production of Scarred For Life.
Ms. Wilhite has worked for fortune 500 companies, but loves her entrepreneurial work. Shondale is one of the administrators of a private global women’s support group on Facebook, Healing Support After Domestic Violence. It was created by her and another survivor that collaborated with a common goal in mind; to provide support, resources, education and most all healing.
Her advocacy for sexual and domestic abuse is very dear to her because she is a survivor and wants to inspire and transform the lives of others to be healthy and whole.
