Aaron was a Federal Counsel for the Government of Malaysia when, in a moment of youthful indiscretion, he went against conventional wisdom and venture into the an industry he's not familiar with and a profession he has not heard of. Today, he is still in the oil & gas industry, procuring Gas Turbines, Compressors equipment and its associated aftermarket services for Shell's Exploration & Production activities in Sabah (North Borneo) and Sarawak waters.

A Contracts Specialist with invaluable knowledge of managing tenders, resources and stakeholders in an effective and efficient manner, he is highly focused with a comprehensive understanding of contracts, procurement and the supply chain in the oil & gas industry. Boasting a consistent & proven track record of successfully putting into place procurement contracts that improve efficiency, reduce operating costs whilst increasing performance, all to tight time scales and within budget.

Committed to identifying and implementing continuous improvements in the supply chain, in particular,to maximize the value from third party spend through:
• adopting a Total Cost of Ownership approach;
• continuous improvement of supply chains;
• leveraging global commercial position;
• forming optimal vendor relationships with fair and transparent contracting arrangements,
• leverage on aggregated volume and interests to ensure most competitive and most viable outcome.

whilst meeting the highest standards of ethical conduct and complying with applicable legislation and Company’s policies and regulations.

He is now working on putting together three (3) new PETRONAS Global Frame Agreement (GFA) and Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) for Gas Turbines with Rolls-Royce, Solar and General Electric, in his capacity as Sarawak Shell Berhad Contracts Representative and member of the Taskforce for the formation of the said agreements.
