For the last 2 years, I have been self-employed in the LV as a private tailor primarily doing off the rack alterations work, image consulting (personal and group speaking etc), and developing my own custom clothing business. I have altered and recut just about every garment for men, women, and kids including suits & wedding dresses.
Recently, I was approached by Astor & Black to take a position as the first and only clothier in the LV. My duties with the company usually include meeting with company execs, VP's, CEO's, Finance pro's, attorneys, surgeons, some pro athletes, and just about any other interested professional in order to help them properly dress themselves in custom and some off the rack clothing. I have the style/fashion skills of a clothier combined with the technical/fit/construction knowledge of an experienced tailor.
When I work with a client, I completely take the task of driving to the store, shopping for clothes, and visiting the tailor afterwards off of the to-do list in one full sweep. My prices for both alterations and custom work are very approachable and competitive with the bigger box stores. My combined skillset, knowledge, and product range availability is simply not to be found anywhere else in the LV.
This is a statement based on results only. Lastly, I do not charge for consulting. I make money of the sale of clothing & accessories and existing clothing atlerations.
