San Francisco

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist intern (#76200, Supervised by Patricia Herrera, MFC#37738) offering a sliding scale practice through the Center for Personal and Relational Development in the Duboce/Castro neighborhood of San Francisco.

I believe that the body is an important part of the mind and psyche. While we will engage in what will look like traditional “talk therapy,” we will simultaneously explore your embodied experience in the room. Sensation and movement will help anchor your self-knowledge and growth.

I don't assume that you are the sole cause of your problems. You are embedded in multiple spheres of influence, including families, social groups, institutions, cultural forces, and society at large- many people suffer from inequality and abuse at the hands of one or more of these systems. Part of our work involves looking at how you participate in and are affected by the world around you, and what you can do to change your own circumstances and affect the circumstances of others.
