A wayfarer at heart, Abra loves exploring foreign places, cantering on unspoiled beaches, reading under a willow tree, a game of chess fireside, sailing amidst a sunset, surrounding herself with animals, strolling down a cobblestone street with an ice cream cone, curling up with Rocky and cooking with reckless abandon.

Abra was born in Connecticut to Tim Segerson, an artistic builder and Michele, an elementary school teacher and writer. Growing up in the lovely rural town of Roxbury, CT; her childhood was spent playing outdoors with her sister, Fawn, spirited by Grimm & Anderson fairytales.

Abra trained as an actress at The Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory, and as a singer at The International Lyric Academy of Rome and The Juilliard School. She also holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Music from Union College.

She now resides in New York City.
