My name is Adele. I live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains cultivating creativity and sustainability. I work part time as a florist and part time as a writer, food photographer, and local food advocate.
Motivated by the pitfalls of our modern food system and the beauty of pastoralism, I decided I wanted to teach people how to eat in a sustainable way. Food is intimate, personal, and central to the lives in which we live. I want to show you how you can get back to the basics; whether you do it yourself through gardening or raising chickens or whether you support a local farmer instead. We are not merely cogs in the machine. Every one of us has an important role to play in changing our food system - big and small. Hope you enjoy!
