Adiam Tesfalul is a student at Harvard University studying Economics and African Studies. In 2015, Adiam will return to McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst in their Houston Office.
Adiam was born and raised in Houston, Texas. In her recent past, she has had the privilege of working at Google on their Global Search Solutions team and serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Ryan Enos of Harvard University's Government Department. She has also served as the Vice President of the Association of Black Harvard Women, and as a Research Analyst and Fundraising Officer for the African Development Initiative.
She is also a second generation Eritrean and has a passion for international development, social entrepreneurship, and community service. Adiam's career interests include, but are not limited to: technology, strategy, risk and crisis management, and design-to-value/user experience.
In her free time, she enjoys checking out new foods/restaurants, being outdoors, and playing recreational sports ranging from basketball to soccer. She also enjoys live music, traveling, pretending that she can paint well, and taking in the sights and stars of the many places she visits.
