RiversetRoses n.[Rivers-and-roses]

An online lifestyle blog that concentrates on beauty, food, faith, music, social justice concerns, and other relative culturally influenced events.

RnR strives to promote relevant and valuable content to our readers through extensive research, interviews, and user friendly product trails. Our team is currently partnering with sustainable companies to provide eco- friendly, cruelty-free, and organic products. These products will be available for consumer purchase Fall 2016, which include, but are not limited to, beauty care, home goods, and custom fashions.

Currently Riversetroses is solely ran by one woman, writer and stylist, Katt Banks, who accepts freelance partnership on a project by project bases. Katt has been involved in the industry for five years. Originally starting her career in acting, but soon after, pursued the idea of entrepreneurship. Having always been a prominent voice and role model in her neighborhood, she decided to curate her own blog. This decision allowed her supporters to keep up with her eloborate sojourns, ideas, fashion choices, and projects and sometimes get involved ie outreach and donations. After achieving her actorial goals, Katt decided to open another door that would solidify her budding career, which is fashion. Here she would intern with the top commercial e-comm at the time, JustFab, which would lead her to working as an assistant stylist to Pop Star Rihanna's wardrobe stylist, Jessica Rosales for the brand FabKids. While, also, occasionally styling for Kate Hudson's Fabletics athletics brand.

She is currently studying Fashion Design at Lattc, where she created and leads an on campus fitness club, Doga, (dance and yoga), helps ASO Club Rise get undocumented students enrolled into school, while also conducting freelance styling and blog coverage. On the weekends she participates in feeding organic and healthy goods to those in need at her church's food bank and resides on the women's health ministry board, volunteers with poverty outreach for women, host poetry events, and support women of color entrepreneurial events and businesses.
