Adrienne Rice

Berkeley, CA

Adrienne was born and raised in the perpetually sunny suburb of Irvine, California. At the age of twelve she decided to pursue her love of painting in a formal setting, and applied to the Orange County High School of the Arts. The urban streets of Santa Ana thrilled and inspired her, and Adrienne continued to attend the charter school until she graduated as Valedictorian at the age of eighteen. From there she went on to attend UC Berkeley, majoring in Media Studies with a minor in Art History.

While in college Adrienne was involved with the campus fashion publication BARE Magazine, joined the sorority Chi Omega, and experimented with vegetarianism. In her spare time she enjoys visiting art museums, figure drawing, discovering new music, drinking coffee, and playing soccer. She also has a deep appreciation for the public radio show This American Life.
