Investigative Reporter in New York

Read my articles

I specialize in writing stories some people really don't want you to read.

My reports have uncovered corruption in big city government; exposed misguided policies that put children in the hands of pimps and spotlighted illegal religious school practices that that rob students of the ability to speak English and earn a living.

My investigations have impact.

As a writer, editor and educator, I use my knack for crafting a compelling narrative to deliver news, web content and curriculum.

I've worked on staff at Forbes magazine and other national news outlets and now contribute to The Daily Beast, Marie Claire, Stanford Business and Westchester magazine and many other publications.

Some of my recent USA Today Network investigations resulted in lawsuits, the creation of new legislation and were featured on PBS.

I spent 10 years working and writing in the San Francisco Bay Area and also have lived in Ecuador, Spain and Israel. Soy bilingüe. Today I reside in New York with my husband and two sons.

My favorite days usually involve climbing a mountain on foot, bicycle or chairlift.
