Elvis is currently the CRM | Manager for Jumia Kenya, Africa's Number #1 On-line Store and leader in e-Commerce in Africa.
Prior to joining Jumia, he worked with iHub, an Innovative Hub for Technologist, primarily focusing on driving local Tech Research in East Africa. He was part of a team known as Umati Project Team. Where user insights were drawn from social media, mainstream media and all other on-line apparatus within the on-line space. Umati has conducted a unique, first ever on-line hate speech monitoring in the "WORLD."
Elvis boosts as passionate about ICT literacy development having worked with Voices of Africa -for Sustainable development, Ipsos Synovate - A global research firm. Also worked for Softcall Communications and Next Technologies.
Elvis strives to make ICT effective in Africa and make technology relevant, usable and useful in the everyday life of Africa users.
