I love my work @everyday strategist™. I get to eat ideas for breakfast, creative problem solving for lunch and strategy for dinner. While I drink lots of coffee, I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and to learn something new every day.
Through the everyday strategist™ I am able to work with individuals and organisations and conduct research, come up with innovative ideas, think creatively and analytically, problem solve and pull everything together into strategies for them. I have a multi-disciplinary skill set, founded on my policy and business analysis, project management, legal and knowledge management expertise, augmented by my experience in business working in the legal, NPO and business environments.
Before becoming an entrepreneur and finding my calling as an everyday strategist™ I started out as a lawyer. I clerked at the Constitutional Court, before qualifying as an attorney and going on to work at a top South African commercial law firm, and then a prominent law centre and NGO. My academic pursuits include an LLB, an MPhil in Economic Policy, and a second Masters degree in international law, which I am currently completing. I have also contributed to policy formulation in national and international policy forums, including as a member of the Stop TB Task Force on TB and Human Rights.
