Archaeologist and professor in New Hampshire
I have a PhD in Anthropology and Historical Archaeology from the College of William & Mary. I'm the archaeologist at Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, NH. I'm a Faculty Fellow in the Anthropology Department at the University of New Hampshire and work with interns both at the museum and with the Indigenous New Hampshire Collaborative Collective. I co-own a consulting company and do survey work for Tribal Historic Preservation Offices in southern New England. I've worked across New England, in Virginia, Alabama, the Southwest, and the Caribbean. I use and teach GIS.
I have two cats and a dog. My husband and I like to visit a new National Park every year. I love yoga, cooking, sewing my own clothes, reading, and pop culture.
