Agnes Kun Gazda
Travel agent in Budapest, Hungary
Hi, I am Agnes.I am preparing to move and live abroad, because I am always looking for new challenges in life.I graduated from Kodolányi János University of Applied Sciences in Hungary as a Tourism major, I had the opportunity to attend a semester at Katowice School of Economics with the Erasmus Life Learning Program. I was in Poland for 6 months, and during this time I got to see a lot. I visited most of the country. I loved to live there. I made friendships, which last to this day. While I was there, I started to learn Polish, and I can still speak it in a beginner level.I consider this half year I spent in Poland one of my biggest life experiences, I learned a lot there. At my last job I worked as a travel agent at Vista Travel Agencies Hungary, I was a flight ticket agent. I booked and issued flight tickets, exchanges and refunds. I sold company products to customers, as well as partner agencies. I got to use the Worldspan and Amadeus GDS-es, and I gained experience with hotel, car rental, and cruise booking systems also. The company is specialized in tailor-made vacations, but also has group tours organized. It was a great place to work, I developed most of my organizing and people skills to almost perfection there. Sometimes I got to write about destinations, because the company has a website, which contains personal experiences about places. It’s also very informative for future passengers. We write about what to do, where to eat, how to get to these destinations.I try to travel a lot, because I love to meet new people, get to know different cultures and lifestyles. I’m a backpacker, I think it brings me closer to the community I visit. In my spare time I read a lot.I would read about almost anything, from classic through modern to scientific literatureand I really enjoy reading travel guidebooks, when it’s well written, It’s almost like traveling.I am an enthusiastic and cheerful person who fits easily into the community, learns quickly and is able to work individually and in teams as well. I speak Hungarian and English fluently and German and Polish at a basic level. I intend to improve my language skills, and maybe gain new ones too.I am an Earth-conscious person,I try to keep my lifestyle sustainable. I feel very close to nature, I mostly spend my spare time gardening, hiking, kayaking or just being outside, rain or shine, I especially love the snow. I am a very active person, I take a full day hike before lying on the beach anytime.
