Lan Nguyen

I began working with WrightIMC in July 2010 as a graphic and web developer. I’m responsible for designing and building many of WrightIMC’s sites from the ground up, as well as managing them. I’ve been professionally designing for almost 5 years and practicing for more than 10. Before my career with WrightIMC, I worked in New York City as a Senior Developer with an online media company while actively participating in the Asian community. I was one of the youngest individuals to help coordinate Museum of Chinese in America’s (MOCA) Sichuan Earthquake Fundraiser, which was attended by some of the most prominent leaders in the Asian community such as JYP Entertainment’s CEO Park Jin Young, America’s Best Dance Crew’s Jabbawockeez, and NYC Councilman John C. Liu. Though I’ve left NYC, I continue to work for a NYC-based online foreign media streaming company and freelance for local businesses in the Dallas Metroplex. I am currently a full time student at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) for a B.A. in Emerging Media and Communications (EMAC) with a focus in Web Design. I am also a member of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society and the Vietnamese Student Association. From time to time, I also help UTD’s Student Government coordinate events throughout the year such as Homecoming and Field Day. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, flag football, gaming and actively participating in social media. I am currently an avid Tumblr member and the event coordinator for the Dallas Ninja Adventures (DNA).
