Born in Australia and raised in Sydney, Budapest and London, I trained at Time Out Sydney while completing a Master of Media Practice at the University of Sydney. While working in digital marketing at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, I began heading up the local chapter of grassroots food literacy organisation Youth Food Movement and completed the Centre for Sustainability Leadership's fellowship program.
With this experience across the not-for-profit and media sectors; a deep interest in food, farming, sustainability and travel; and a passion for communicating issues and ideas in these fields, I took the leap mid-2014 to pursue journalism full-time. These days, I'm a freelance journalist contributing to a range of digital and print publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, Guardian Australia, Country Style, Broadsheet Sydney, ABC Radio National Online and ABC Organic Gardener online.
I'm currently based in Bra, Italy, while completing a Master in Food Culture & Communications majoring in Human Ecology and Sustainability at the University of Gastronomic Sciences, from where I continue to write for Australian and international publications.
