Alessandro Pizzigolotto

Economist, Researcher, and Analyst in Frankfurt, Germany

Alessandro is MSc of Finance Graduate at the University of Padua. He has studied also at University of Helsinki and Aalto University School of Business during his master. Currently, he works as Research Assistant in DG-Research at the European Central Bank. His dream is to work as an economic researcher, especially in the fields of applied microeconometrics, labour economics, innovation and education. He is interested in economics because this is a tool to make policies in order to shape the world as a more equal and lovely place and to understand the underlined dynamics that rule our environment.

He has an IT background which never sleeps. He loves coding, he used to work as a web developer in creative programs and web applications. In the future, he would like to merge his knowledge in programming with his projects in FinTech and economic research to create something really useful for the people’s everyday life.

In his free time, he enjoys playing the bass guitar with his bands, travelling and hiking lost in far away places, snowboarding, playing basketball and plunging into other several nerdy projects :D
