Alexis Sarah Weisbrot
Alexis Sarah has eighteen years of classical dance training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Theatre Dance and Hip Hop. She studied at intensive summer programs throughout her years of training such as, the Jazz Dance World Congress, University of the Arts Intensive, ArchCore40, and the Florida Dance Festival; where she received a scholarship from the Florida Dance Association to attend. She studied with Valencia Dance Theatre in college where she majored and graduated with her Associates degree in Dance Performance.
She is thankful to have had the opportunity to train with master teachers and choreographers from LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City such as Jennifer Archibald, Nan Giordano, Manuel Vignoulle, Gregory Dolbashian, Soraya Lundy, Jayson Vasquez, Rennie Harris, and Herman Payne. Her dancing is as versatile as her movement qualities; which have been described as energetic and strong yet sensual and intimate. Currently Ms. Weisbrot is in her seventh year dancing professionally with REACH Dance Theatre Collective and will soon be receiving her Pilates Teacher Training Certification through Lolita San Miguel and Lolita’s Legacy. Alexis has an open and creative mind for choreography and enjoys experimenting in the studio. She loves taking class to continue her training and is eager and excited for new projects and opportunities.
Alexis has eight years of experience teaching creative movement, children’s dance, Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop. While being a very technical teacher, Alexis has a love and passion for dance that she shares with all of her students. She is currently on staff at Florida School For Dance Education, Florida Arts and Dance Company, Classical Pilates, and Ocean Montessori.
