Journalist, Writer, and Digital producer in Beirut, Lebanon

Alexis is a journalist based between Hong Kong and Beirut.

She has reported on a wide range of topical issues, from Edward Snowden's reception in Hong Kong, Andy Warhol's influence in Chinese contemporary art, to the unexpected joys of traveling in much-maligned countries like India and Lebanon.

Alexis formerly worked as a features writer for The Daily Star in Beirut and an online reporter/producer for CNN in Hong Kong. She has also contributed to The Wall Street Journal, South China Morning Post and Time Out Hong Kong, among others.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Asian Studies from Cornell University (Phi Beta Kappa) and a master's degree in journalism (with distinction) from the University of Hong Kong.
