Strategy Analyst and Non-Executive Director in Melbourne, Australia
In his later school years, Alex was a keen ski racer who combined his passion for the snow with his interest in technology. Throughout his final years at school, he spent a considerable amount of time away training and competing, from the Australian snow fields to the Arctic Circle in northern Sweden, to Austria and Canada.
On finishing school in 2013, Alex founded SkyPunch Technologies. SkyPunch began as a software development house. The first major product was the Athlete Management System in 2014. The Athlete Management System is designed to enhance communication in sports teams and organisations and enables improved real time engagement with athletes. At the end of 2014, Alex turned his attention away from ski racing to building a full-time career in technology, with a focus on cloud and security.
SkyPunch evolved to become a leader in Cloud Strategy & Solutions in the SME market, with a focus on professional services firms. In June/July 2017, SkyPunch merged with WebAlive. Over the past decade, WebAlive has become a significant force in the software development space. For more information please visit www.skypunch.com.au or www.webalive.com.au.
In September 2017, Alex joined 5th placed Deloitte Fast 500 company, Property Exchange Australia (PEXA).
