Alexxandar is currently the Film Critic with The Valdosta Daily Times (www.valdostadailytimes.com/) and Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc. (CNHI), where his reviews can be read, at times, in 23 states on-line. He reviews about 150 movies per year, averaging approximately three to four reviews a week.

He is a current instructor at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. He is an former Adjunct Lecturer (University Writing Program) at The University of Florida. He is a former Instructor of Political Science at Valdosta State University. Research Interests include: Congressional Districts, Media and Politics, and Teaching Political Science.

He is a former Curator of the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts, a former Commissioner of the Lowndes/Valdosta Arts Commission, a former President of the Valdosta Civic Roundtable, former Vice Chair of The Valdosta-Metro Film Commission. He is a member of Southern Artists' League, and a former member of the Georgia Political Science Association and the Alabama Political Science Association. He is also a yoga instructor, a poetry writer and an artistic photographer (has taught teen and adult photography classes).

Alexxandar is a graduate of Valdosta State University with Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, and Certificate of Applied Ethics.
