Community Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii
I am a Community Manager for Relay for Life at American Cancer Society. I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with my Master's in Public Administration with a concentration in Non-Profit Management. I previously worked for the Girl Scouts of Hawaii as the Program Manager responsible for setting up community programming for girl scouts across the state. I was previously in the fund development department assisting with grant writing and donation tracking. I worked for the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii as the Early Intervention and Prevention Coordinator helping to screen people for kidney disease. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow.
I love using my talents to help out a cause that is near to my heart. I graduated with my BA in Journalism and Minor in Sociology at UHM. I served as chairperson for 5 years to the Student Media Board governing board overseeing all the UH Manoa media programs: KaLeo O Hawaii, KTUH 90.3FM, Hawaii Review Lit Journal and UH Video Productions.
I am originally from Seattle but I have lived in Chicago and now Hawaii for over 5 years. I love to volunteer at many different non-profits in the community. I love arts and culture and I occasionally write for Honolulu's Abstract Magazine.

For fun I love adventuring in Chinatown, exploring art, yelping places, trying new restaurants, playing roller derby and going to as many concerts as possible! I love chocolate, caramel brulee lattes, punk rock music, the color green, smushed face dogs and sunsets.
