Project Manager in Dublin, Ireland
I manage the ICT4D (ICT for Development) project portfolio at Concern Worldwide (www.concern.net). I am based in our headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
I am currently writing the second ICT4D strategy and establishing a GIS function for the organisation. Previous projects included digitalising paper data collection in 29 countries, developing solar solutions for emergencies and building an organisational intranet.
I am an IT Project Manager certified in Prince2 and PMI Agile, but my educational background is Social Science (MA in Communication Theory and BA in Philosophy). Prior to joining Concern in 2007 I worked in the corporate sector as an IT Project Manager at Accenture, IBM, Dublin Institute of Technology and Virgin Atlantic.
Special Interest Area: How IT can be used to reduce inequality and empower women and children.
I tweet as @AlienWardrobe about IT in development, equality, innovation and research that informs my work. I am always interested in learning and sharing with others.
