Alisdair Kitchen is a multidisciplinary artist and theatre producer, and founder of Euphonia Studio.

He holds first class Bachelor and Masters degrees in piano performance from the Royal College of Music, and later studied conducting with Sir Colin Davis and David Syrus. He began directing for the stage in 2014 and is mentored by Jonathan Miller.

Euphonia has existed in one form or another since 2010, growing out of performance projects at the Courtauld Gallery in London. Its current form - Euphonia Studio - primarily represents Alisdair's creative practice as a director/designer/music director, and this website is a portfolio documenting his main productions from 2015 to the present.

Euphonia Studio has developed close ties with the Rye Arts Festival in East Sussex, producing work there since 2011. ES has also held residencies at The Cockpit and Drayton Arms theatres in London.

In addition to his work with ES, Alisdair is on the music staff at the Royal College of Music. He was previously an Associate Director at the Drayton Arms Theatre in London.

Euphonia Studio founding associates include Prof. Robert Winston and Dr Charlotte De Mille.
