I'm not a traditional marketer. I love data. I speak sales. I can manage P&L.

I do not suffer from shiny object syndrome. I listen, observe and ask better questions. More people should try that.

I have a strategic mind, lots of ideas and fast-paced is my default setting. My aspiration is to be an entrepreneur and I'm working toward that. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying my work. Through it, I've become as comfortable in the C-suite as I am presenting to a standing room only crowd. I've learned that doing things no one else has done before, and managing it all in a matrix structure, requires collaboration, communication, humility, leadership and patience. I've found that coaching to potential matters.

We are all capable of more than we think. No one takes a job hoping to fail, so when it isn't working out, you have to ask yourself --- did they die on the job or did I kill them? My team is heroic. They'd walk through fire for me because I'd do it for them. We work and play hard.

I began my career as a fundraiser which was exceptional training for marketing, sales and entrepreneurship. Storytelling is a necessary ingredient to selling the intangible: the feeling that you are doing good. And, the shoestring budgets I had mean I really can do more with less (and more with more!).
