Alrica C. Rickards was born in Kingston Jamaica, migrated to the U.S in 1993, where she grew up in the Bronx, NY.

In 2010, Alrica became a freelance photographer after purchasing her first professional digital camera. In the winter of 2012, Alrica’s brother approached her with the idea of opening up her own photo studio in Florida, where she could closely target her audience. Alrica left New York City to make her dreams a reality. Alrica has since honed her craft as a photographer, photo editor, videographer, social media marketer, and a public relations specialist. In October of 2012 Alrica started her very own magazine, Oh Wow!! Magazine, which features local business owners, musicians, actors, and models.

Alrica teaches Fundamentals of Communication at Monroe College in the Bronx, NY.

Alrica also works as a consultant for small business owners who are in need of PR tips, tricks and solutions. Alrica’s goal is to expand her company while expanding her brand’s social reach.
