Amanda O. Holmes, Ph.D., is an accomplished higher education leader, accreditation evaluator, and corporate trainer with more than 20 years of experience shaping academic excellence and organizational effectiveness. She currently serves as Dean of Education at Fortis College, where she sets academic standards, develops policies, and partners with accrediting and licensing agencies to ensure quality and compliance.
Her career includes roles as Interim Campus President and Academic Dean at Virginia College, where she exceeded institutional retention and pass-rate goals, led curriculum overhauls, and achieved multiple programmatic and institutional accreditations with zero or minimal citations. In addition, Amanda has taught across multiple institutions, including Rasmussen University, Sumter High School, Northeastern Technical College, and the St. Louis Adult Education Center.
