Having worked as a buyer, I definitely see myself partly as a cultural broker working alongside people from different cultures, conducting business in two different languages. Having been trained in Anthropology, I constantly apply sociocultural understanding and behavioural studies whether in customer service or business development.
I also involve myself with creative projects such as publishing an online magazine (M.I.M Magazine) and designing and developing websites - with a particular interest in branding and user experience.
Originally from Manila, with part of my childhood spent in Japan, I now call Sydney home; although work has brought me back to Japan, the country where I spent my early childhood in. I'm also fluent in three languages, and still wrapping my head around two more.
