Amy Franklin

I’m a senior public relations major and photography student at San Jose State University. I received my associate degree in journalism from De Anza College in Cupertino, Calif., prior to transferring to SJSU to complete my undergraduate study in public relations and photography. At De Anza, I worked as a staff reporter, photographer, copy editor and arts and entertainment editor for La Voz Weekly, the on campus student-run publication. Today, I work as a marketing and social media manager for a team of real estate agents at Intero Real Estate in Los Gatos. In my spare time, I do freelance social media, marketing and photography work for friends, family and professional sports teams e.g. the San Jose Earthquakes. I’m passionate about photography (obviously), bicycling, outdoor sports, coffee, the beach, cooking – I love the Food Network – and going to baseball games. Go Giants!
