You can just call me Amy.

I'm a South Jersey native with my B.A. from Rutgers and my M.S. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Penn State. Currently the Coordinator of Community Service at Old Dominion University!

I believe in higher education as a comprehensive experience that educates far beyond the classroom environment. I believe there is no better way to learn about yourself than to serve others. I believe if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. And, I believe you can always find time to get a cup of coffee with a friend.

I love photography, sitcoms, chocolate, and coffee shops of all kinds. I'm the product of a supportive and crazy Portuguese family, longtime friends, girls leadership programs, community service opportunities, and educators that have guided me through the multitude of life-changing experiences I have been afforded.

I'm looking forward to continuing my path into student affairs, and to discovering new connections to drink a cup of coffee with!
