I hold a MSc in Environmental Engineering and Land Planning and I’m passionate about sustainability, in particular applied to the complexity of urban environments: in my education and working experience I faced all main disciplines connected with the city.

I believe all actors involved in urban development and redevelopment should identify new methods, guidelines and targets while getting engaged in the achievement of sustainable long term solutions.

Starting from shared and solid principles, it is always possible to involve society's driving forces together into a new paradigm. For instance, this concept can be applied to the reduction, reuse and recycling of urban spaces, by using a societal and open innovation approach: my master thesis described the basic scheme of such a framework, with the intention to provide a new point of view over the sustainable management and redevelopment of urban spaces.

A critical element in today's complex urban environment are what I define R-Spaces - parts of an urban area not living up to valuable standards of sustainability. To make the most of R-Spaces, and suggest proactive methods to handle with them, I've been also focusing on a multitude of disciplines, from economics to sustainable urban transport, from road construction to green infrastructures, from innovation to energy grids, from negotiation to politics and citizens engagement.

In the long term I wish to strongly contribute to the sustainable development of the society and leave a better planet for the generations to follow, by starting to have an impact now.
