Andrea Edwards

I grew up near Seattle, WA where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business and spent the next five years climbing the corporate ladder at a large automotive manufacturer named PACCAR where I held various positions including my most recent roles as Brand Manager and Product Manager.

Seeking a career change, and a chance to experience life outside of Seattle, I quit my job in mid-2015 and moved to San Francisco, CA to learn how to code. I've been coding ever since (and loving it!) and am very proud to call myself a front-end web developer.

I'm in the midst of creating a marquee project to showcase to you all and I will be delighted to share in the coming months!

In addition to quitting my job, moving to SF, and learning to code, I've also found inspiration in the latter half of 2015 from the following books and events which I highly recommend:

Lean In (Sheryl Sandberg), What I know for Sure (Oprah), The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho), The Confidence Code (Katty Kay & Claire Shipman), Thrive (Arianna Huffington), The Lean Startup (Eric Ries), Playing Big (Tara Mohr), Start with Why (Simon Sinek), Fast Company Innovation Festival NYC, The Hive Foundation Women's Retreat Catalina Island
