He produces commissions for publications such as The Guardian and The Financial Times Magazine and his personal works negotiates knowledge of selfhood as influenced by political and familial history.

His photographs, texts and other interventions, focus on migration, citizenship and urbanism; and speak to the ways in which interpellation impacts both upon our systems of belief, and our notions of self, but also to our connection to the physical spaces around us - and those who inhabit them.

He is Co-Director of Some Cities CIC..

He is a graduate of the MA Documentary program- with distinction - at Newport in Wales and has since undertaken both self-initiated and commissioned works in the UK and abroad.

In 2013 he co-founded Some Cities Community Interest Company, a participatory photography organisation designed to create opportunities for the citizens of Birmingham to chronicle their own experience through photographs and then to construct an ongoing archive of their results.
