After nearly a decade in the media arts, I decided to take my skills to the world of Education. I'm currently entering my final year in the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba.

But that doesn't mean I'm done making films. I'm currently in pre-production for a documentary about the resiliency of Indigenous culture and traditions titled, "Moccasin Stories." I've been working with young filmmakers on student led projects both at my practicum school and at an inner-city program for youth at risk in Winnipeg. This after spending the year before directing and producing "Why We Play," which is currently being aired on MTS Television.

My goal is to merge my passion for teaching and the media arts. I hope to accomplish this in the classroom and outside of the regular school day. I'm currently developing summer camps and after-school programs aimed at getting students involved in the world of digital creativity.

When I'm not geeking out, I'm on the football field coaching high school football, most recently as the defensive backs coach at Maples Collegiate.
