I have worked for a major lumber producer, a leading manufacturer of sawmill equipment and a forestry research firm. With over 25 years of industry experience, I am always looking for opportunities to identify improvements in efficiency and profitability.

I am a Canadian-based Tech enthusiast. A Geek in disguise!

I am proud to have served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Electronics Technician.

I furthered my schooling at Algonquin Collage in Ottawa, ON. I studied electronics and received honours.

I took a job at Newnes Machine as an Electronics Technician, and quickly moved into service where I installed and serviced optimized scanning equipment.

After leaving Newnes Machine I took a job at Canfor. As the Quality Control Supervisor, I found my passion for all things quality and proceeded to better myself in this field. I feel I have learned a great deal about quality and I have become proficient in Statistical Process analysis.

I decided to take what I had learned in quality, process control and optimization and accepted a job as a Sawmilling Specialist with FPInnovations, focusing on serving the technical needs of the sawmilling industry in the areas of process control and optimization.

I am proud of the training workshops and quality control tools that I have developed. These workshops and tools have assisted manufacturers in realizing additional value to their operations, with an estimated savings of approximately $2M for one organization.

After 14 years with FPInnovation, I returned to industry and took a position with Weyerhaeuser, as a Quality Control Manager.

I have a strong analytical background with extensive experience in client and customer service, quality and process control, as well as technical service. All this relates to providing the highest level of service, knowledge, and advice, in order to attain maximum value from the products.

I am looking for opportunities that are challenging and allow me to use my extensive experience. During my career, I have used my talents and abilities to find creative approaches to resolving problems. I am looking for a company whose culture values the contribution of their employees. I believe that mutual benefits can be achieved with a dedicated person, such as myself, that is passionate and believes in the goals that can be accomplished by the team.

I welcome a discussion about how my experience and skills can be best used to assist you.
