Angela Randolph is a fourth year doctoral student in the Management Ph.D. program at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Her research interests focus on entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship. The study of entrepreneurship aligns with her personal mission to empower others to pursue their goals. Her passion to help people pursue their goals has translated into a research, teaching, and service agenda that converge on understanding the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics, socioeconomic factors, and the process by which entrepreneurs identify, develop and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.

Prior to entering the Ph.D. Program at Texas Tech University, she enjoyed a diverse career working for private and public companies. Over the last ten years, she has consulted organizations in treasury management practices, worked to improve operating processes in a beverage plant, and started a small business to help new ventures develop and grow.
