Angela Severiano is a marketing and public relations consultant for elected public officials, Hollywood actors, social activists and major corporations. Her most notable work is spearheading First Lady Michelle Obama’s Initiative Let’s Move!, the childhood obesity program in New York. Angela has also run policy advocacy and public awareness campaigns for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Adrian Grenier, NBA Legend Julius Erving and Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance.
Angela's leadership experience started in the non-profit world as the former Director of VDAY NYC, which produced Off-Broadway performances to raise funds and support for the Center Against Domestic Violence. Her success at VDAY stems from running similar programs for The Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NY, SHFT-Mobile Kitchen Classroom, and the American Red Cross.
While creating a social impact, Angela has also pursued her passion for music and the arts. Her dance record "Never Know What U Got” topped charts on Sirius radio and has been featured on dance channels all over the US. Angela has performed at Giants Stadium, The American Red Cross Gala and numerous venues across New York City including Webster Hall. She was voted Boulevard Magazine’s "Best New Artist.” Art patrons know Angela for coordinating nationally known exhibits including “Fame Values in Today’s Media Landscape” at Art Basel, Miami. It featured a screening of Adrian Grenier’s film, Teenage Paparazzi and the exhibit featured works by Banksy, Tim Kent and Sheppard Fairy.
Angela lives in New York and loves spending time with her son, Landon James. She is originally from Florida and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University.
